This is hybrid fiber-coax in almost every address, not fiber to the unit. Download is the headline. Upload on the 300, 500, and 1 Gig cards we reviewed tops out near 100 Mbps. The 2 Gig tier is the one that moves upload toward 250 Mbps.

NOW Internet is the prepaid path around $30 for 100/10, with no credit check on the published offer. It is a different product from the 5-year tiers. Do not assume the gateway rules match.

If you upload video for work all day, say so before you take the cheaper gig. A fiber address from AT&T or Fios, where one exists, will beat this plant on upload even at a lower download number.
